It is 1,080 miles (1738 km) long. The longest river that feeds the Great Slave Lake is the Peace, which is formed by the confluence of the Finlay and the Parsnip. The total length of the Finlay/Peace/MacKenzie river system is 2,635 miles (4,241 km).
